Why We Built This Site
Georgia generally permits access to public court records, subject to sealing, redaction, juvenile confidentiality, and other limits. The harder task is finding the correct custodian. Clerk of Superior Court Tammie Mosley keeps Superior civil, domestic, felony, and related files. State Court, Magistrate Court, Probate Court, Juvenile Court, Recorder's Court, and city courts have separate custodians. Chatham's Odyssey/re:SearchGA portal covers several participating courts, while eFileGA accepts filings but is not the public docket. We organize those distinctions, official contacts, search fields, and copy routes in plain terms.
What You Will Find Here
- Case lookups: how to use the local case lookup by name, case number, location, or hearing field
- Docket help: how Chatham County criminal docket searches and civil docket searches differ
- Dates and settings: how to read the court dates interface and confirm a setting with the proper clerk
- Copies: how to request court records, filed documents, and certified copies from their custodians
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Georgia court, clerk, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, portal, or setting remains current
Only the clerk or court that holds the original can issue an official or certified docket sheet, disposition, order, or other court record.
Search Partners
Third-party providers power search boxes shown on some pages. Those providers control their services, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this resource. We do not set provider charges, compile their results, or treat those results as official Chatham County court records.
